Appraisal Services

A variety of appraisal services are available to suit the needs of our clients. Deanne Karnes, owner and appraiser, has over 20 years of experience in the jewelry industry. Working in collaboration with Precious Gems & Jewelry is a GIA Graduate Gemologist who implements industry-standard methods and equipment in identifying and grading gemstones.

Informal Appraisal- for those who have a piece of jewelry or loose gemstone and would like to find out more about it, or verify that it is genuine and are interested in a general idea of the value, where no written assessment is needed

Estate Appraisal- for those who need liquidation or fair market value assessments of jewelry for the purposes of settling an estate

Insurance Replacement Appraisal- for those who need detailed legal documents of their jewelry prepared to submit to insurance companies for coverage of loss and theft.
